Amish Style Oatmeal

An excellent way to enjoy oatmeal.

Dry Ingredients:

Wet Ingredients:

Additional Ingredients:


Preheat the oven to 325F.

In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and set aside.

In a separate large bowl, combine all the wet ingredients and whisk until combined.

Next add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

In a 9×13 casserole dish greased with a little cooking spray or butter, add an even layer of the diced apples. Pour the oat mixture in the casserole dish and top with the remaining 1/2 Cup of pistachios.

Bake in the oven for 45 minutes and once cooked allow to cool for 20 minutes before serving so the oatmeal sets.

Serve the Amish-style oatmeal with berries and honey or maple syrup on top. Garnish with powdered sugar if desired.
