Apple Crisp

An easy dessert to share around the table this fall!!

(Serves 6)
Need: 8 inch Cast Iron Pan


Filling Ingredients:

Topping Ingredients:


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl combine all the topping ingredients. Mix the ingredients with clean hands until a crumble texture has formed then set aside.

Next in an 8 inch cast iron pan on medium heat, add the butter and once melted add the sliced apples. Once the apples begin to soften, add the rest of the filling ingredients and mix until evenly combined. Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apples then cover the pan with foil.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes covered with foil, then remove the foil and bake an additional 20-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.

Let cool until warm then serve with vanilla ice cream.
