Avocado Bruschetta

A refreshing appetizer for brunch or really, any occasion.

In a large pan on medium/low heat add the butter and once melted add the garlic and parsley. Infuse the garlic into the butter for around 10 minutes making sure not to burn the garlic. Let the garlic butter cool slightly then dip each slice of ciabatta bread into the butter on one side. Place the garlic bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper butter side up. Bake in the oven set to 425 degrees Fahrenheit for around 10 minutes or until toasted. In a large bowl add the avocado flesh and mash. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Spread the mashed avocado to each slice of toasted garlic ciabatta bread then top with sliced egg, prosciutto, shaved parmesan, and arugula. Hit them with a drizzle of olive or truffle oil, squeeze of lemon, and freshly cracked black pepper. Enjoy!
