Broccoli Salad

An easy side dish to pair with your weeknight entrees or bring to a party to share!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut the broccoli into slightly smaller than bite size florets.

Bring some water to a boil and blanch the broccoli for 3 minutes. Drain and immediately submerge the broccoli into ice water to stop the cooking process. Once the broccoli is cold, drain and let dry completely.

Cook the bacon until crisp and chop up into small pieces then set aside. Prep the rest of the ingredients and have them ready to go.

Next in a large bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients and whisk until combined. Next add the blanched broccoli, diced red onion, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and bacon. Mix until everything is evenly combined and covered in the dressing then season to taste with salt and pepper.

Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour then give it a final mix and serve.
