Truff Spicy Shrimp & Rice

A quick and easy recipe for those who like a little heat.




1st get the jasmine rice cooking following the instructions on the package (Pro-Tip: Use stock instead of water to boil the rice). Once the rice is almost done, season the shrimp with salt and pepper. 

In a large pan on medium heat, add 1-2 Tbsp of olive oil. Once the oil is up to temp, add the shallots, a pinch of salt, and sauté until translucent. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant for about 1 minute. 

Next add the shrimp and cook for around 1 minute a side or until they begin change color (NOTE: do not over cook the shrimp. They will finish cooking in the sauce). Deglaze the pan with white wine and bring to a simmer. 

Once the wine has reduced for a minute or 2, add 1/2 the jar of TRUFF Truffle Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce and stir into the rest of the ingredients. 

Once the sauce is hot and the shrimp is cooked, serve over jasmine rice. Garnish with green onion and parsley.
